8-weeks, meeting once a week for 1 hour. Minimum enrollment for class to run is 3. Kinder Piano class is designed for children who have met the developmental milestones for age 5, up through 7.5 years old. Children aged 3-5 are recommended to enroll in the Premise Piano Class. The main difference between Premie and Kinder courses is pace. Book included. 

This course is split into 2 half semester sessions, and typically completed in 2 half semester session. Placement into Kinder Piano Level 1 or 2 is contingent on teacher approval/recommendation.

Students are not required to own their own instrument at home. Having any keyboard at home is advantageous, but not necessary. Practice and study is built into the curriculum during class time. Students will learn all the basics to begin reading and playing music. Vocabulary and definitions are skewed to accommodate the youngest learners. All vocabulary will eventually include all standard terminology and definitions (including worldwide terminology).

Kinder Piano Classes are in 2 levels before seamlessly transitioning into our standard piano method book for private lessons (Applied Piano Studies). Premie and Kinder classes are solely based on developmental milestones. Maturity, or minimal maturity is factored into the curriculum.  Premie Piano Classes have 4 levels before seamlessly transitioning into our standard piano method book for private lessons. Our private lessons (Applied Piano Studies) is available for children who demonstrate a readiness for full formal study from the ages of 4 and up.
